The
following is a collection of interviews and lectures on the
assassination of Martin Luther King. The featured presenter is Lt. B. Venson
Hughes (MPD, retired) who was a rookie dispatcher on April 4, 1968.
Hughes was working in the Police communications center when
they received word from a field unit that Dr. King had been shot. Over the years, Hughes has collected documents, photographs, and recordings pertaining to the investigation of the murder and the hunt for the killer. |
